Caritas representatives gathered in Brussels to discuss the migration

Representatives of Caritas organizations from Europe, including a representative of Caritas Bulgaria, had a meeting dedicated to “Migration, Interaction, Development”. The event took place in Brussels on January 23^rd – 26^th, 2018.

The participants discussed the start of a new joint activity “Migration, Interaction, Development” which will focus on the causes of migration, the interaction with the hosting communities and the contribution of the migrants. During the meeting were discussed key issues contributing to the goals, the forthcoming initiatives and administrative issues related with the joint activity.

Caritas representatives from Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and the Czech Republic were among the participants at the four days meeting in Brussels.
